Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church is conveniently located between I-94, I-294 and US Route 41 on the border of Deerfield and Highland Park, Illinois. Our members come from all over the area including, but not limited to the communities of: Deerfield, Highland Park, Highwood, Lake Forest, Northbrook, and Vernon Hills.
From the North using I-94: Take I-94 South to Chicago. Exit at Half Day Road and continue East until Waukegan Road. Make a right on Waukegan Road and head South to Deerfield Road. Turn left onto Deerfield Road and continue East for several traffic lights. Zion will be on your left.
From the North using 41: Take US Route 41 (Skokie Highway) South through Highland Park. After passing Target and Dominick's exit Deerfield Road and yield West. After three traffic lights Zion will be on your right.
From the South using I-294: Take I-294 North to Milwaukee. Exit Deerfield Road and head East passed Wilmot Road. Continue about 2 miles passed Downtown Deerfield and Waukegan Road. Zion will be on your left.
From the South using I-94/Route 41: Take I-94/Route 41 (Edens Expressway) North to Milwaukee. At Lake Cook Road I-94 and Route 41 splits; Continue on Route 41 North to Waukegan. Just before the expressway ends, exit at Deerfield Road. Continue going West to Deerfield. Zion will be on your right.
From the West: Take Lake Cook Road East to Waukegan Road. Make a left onto Waukegan Road. Continue North about 1 mile to Deerfield Road. Turn right on Deerfield Road. After several traffic lights you will see Zion on your left.
