We know visiting a new church can feel intimidating. At Zion, our goal is to make your experience comfortable, meaningful, and spiritually refreshing.

Here’s what you can expect on a typical Sunday:

 

A Warm Welcome
As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by friendly volunteers who are happy to answer questions, offer a bulletin, and help you feel at home.

 

Traditional, Relaxed Worship
Our service follows the rich, liturgical tradition of the Lutheran Church, with Scripture, prayer, music, and preaching that is thoughtful, grounded, and easy to follow. Worship lasts about one hour.

 

A Message You Can Connect With
Pastor Joe preaches with warmth, clarity, and encouragement, always pointing us toward God’s grace and hope.

 

Holy Communion
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper regularly. All are welcome to receive Communion.  Children not yet confirmed are welcome to approach the alter during Communion and will receive a blessing from Pastor Joe.

 

Kids Are Welcome
Children are always welcome in worship — noises, wiggles, and all. Activity bags with crayons and coloring pages are available.

 

Coffee & Conversation
Following worship, please stay for coffee and simple refreshments. It’s a wonderful way to meet others and get to know our community.

 

Come As You Are
Whether you’re new to the area, returning to church after time away, or exploring faith, we would be honored to worship with you.  Your presence is a blessing to us.
